The first half of 2017 got off to a pretty good start by any measure. Global equity markets were overwhelmingly positive. International equity markets were actually leading domestic markets with emerging markets up about almost 19% and developed markets up a little over 14%. So international basically led the U.S. and the U.S. had a pretty good return so far this year as well, with the S&P 500 up at 9.3% and small caps up at 5%. So within the U.S., all six months were positive which doesn’t happen too often.
